Portraits

Self-portraits and portrait images created in collaboration with my neighbor and friend Roger Banks. It all started during the Covid-19 virus quarantine with a simple "I wonder how they did that" question. Next thing you know, we are sneaking down to each others garages, creating make-shift studios and experimenting with various photography techniques. Not sure where this is going, but we are having lots of fun.

White Sands National Monument

A beautiful playground in the New Mexican desert. White gypsum sand dunes encroach on the surrounding desert and create a spectacle worth seeing. Add clouds, changing light, and plantlife struggling for survival, to produce a spectacular scene. As the day winds down, climb to the top of a tall sand dune because the show is about to begin. One will see deep shadows, dunes taking on the colors of the sky, and for the encore,stunning sunsets
